Well, it's not like the Tigers have a lot of options for the back end. I agree and think Benoit should be the closer. On the plus side, you don't have to worry about anyone gaining on you in the division. And your rotation and lineup are excellent.

Jose Valverde, the former closer, has accepted his assignment to Class AAA Toledo (Ohio) after no major league team claimed him off waivers this past week

CRAP!
I realize they are out of $2 Million whether he stays or goes, but why not suck it up and LET HIM GO!!!
