I figured it would be beneficial to start an all encompassing free agency thread. :salut:

P.S. 2010 Bears = 2000-2009 Redskins?

Chicago Bears have signed:
DE Julius Peppers
TE Brandon Manumaleauna
RB Chester Taylor

Detroit Lions have signed:
DE Kyle Vanden bosch
WR Nate Burleson

Atlanta Falcons have signed:
CB Dunta Robinson (via Adam Schefter's twitter account)

Chester Taylor was the best of the 3 signings, got him fairly cheap...i dont think the Vikings effectively used him once they got AP, but itll give Cutler a pretty good option to throw screens at...

i do think that Taylor and Peppers are a little old to be considered as 'huge' signings...both are 30, guys drafted are what 21-23 typically and most 'star' guys retire after what 10-12 years?...

but yeah, the bears pissed away the draft big time to get Cutler  and i think Cutler sucks

Not a free agency signing, but a notable trade just reported on NFL Network:

Ravens get WR Anquan Boldin and a 5th

Cardinals get the Ravens' 3rd and 4th round picks

that Schelfter guy was saying on NFL Live on ESPN that the Ravens and Cardinals would hammer this out quickly, but thats big news for the Ravens, and they got him CHEAP

paul the only reason AZ could win is because Boldin was disgruntled there and has been the past 2 seasons...they still have lots of talent at WR, but to get a #1 WR for a 3 and a 4, its a pretty good deal
