Randy Poffo... who is he?

Poffo signed a Minor League contract with the Cardinals straight of high school (1971). Over the course of four seasons in the Cardinals and Reds organizations, Macho Man accumulated a .254 average and .976 fielding percentage, never advancing above Class A ball. He left MLB in 1974 to pursue one of the most outstanding careers as a WWF/WWE Wrestler... better known as Randy "Macho Man" Savage.

He was always one of my favorites as a kid, even today I still watch his matches when I come across them, LOL!

I didn't know he was a baseball player. My little brother was big into WWF/WCW when we were kids and Randy Savage was one of his favorites.

Loved Randy Savage as a kid. Hell of a personality. Always thought it was cool that he was a baseball player, because we usually hear wrestlers being former football players.
