what are buyback autographs?

Buyback autographs are older cards bought back by the card company and then autographed by whichever player and put back into packs.

Well...they're signed, and buybacks usually have some sort of stamp on them to differentiate them from your run of the mill signed version of the same card. So, typically, they do go for a bit more than a regular signed version of the card.
