Okay, so my sister bought one of those $20 Target things with 2 2005-06 SP Authentic packs and 1 random memoribilia card. She got this 2002-03 Fleer Authentix Glenn Robinson "Autographed" jersey card. Thing is, there is NO autograph. On the back it says the replica ticket part is autographed. Could I have any info on this? I might call or email Upper Deck because Fleer was taken by UD but I came here for help first. PLEASE voice your opinions, this is pretty weird. Thanks!!!

P.S.--The bottom is die-cut too. And it's about 1/2 inch smaller than most cards.

No idea why the Auto is missing.

It is probably a "ripped auto jersey" card.

Upper Deck probably would not do anything about it since they probably do not have any of these cards in stock and since they did not own the company when this product was released, and the fact that it is packaged by another distributor would likely make it so UD does nothing.

As for Value, maybe $5-$12?

Would have been cooler if it were Auto'd.

Maybe just throw it on eBay for $5 starting bid and see if anything happens?

Thanks
Mike

are the other ones signed? If so then it is unique otherwise it isn't worth much at all

Yeah, that fleer liquidation auction was pretty crappy. Tons of cards without GU or without Autos....

I personally would stay away from that type of stuff. However with this card, you say it was pulled in a pack. If you find that other Glenn Robinson cards like this ARE auto'd then yours would be unique and maybe worth some $$ to the right person.

I think it would be a very sweet card if it did have the auto. Maybe you could send it to Glenn Robinson and have him sign it TTM? That would be pretty cool.

Good luck with it.

Thanks
Mike

It was not pulled in a pack, it came Garenteed with a Pack of cards at Target.

probably came from Fleer warehouse/auction sale unsigned and then inserted into those Target packs. Fleer cards, from the last few years, have lost a lot of credibility due to that sale. Ive seen Fleer cards that are supposed to be numbered, containing no serial numbering at all. What happened? someone at Fleer hit the presses before going out of business??

Tha card is in fact from the Fleer Liquidation auction. This particular card was meant as a replacement and held in stock inventory at Fleer and if needed, would have had an autograph inserted, then numbered. Had this been a pack pulled auto, it would have been numbered to /50. This is also the "Ripped" version. Beckett bv for this card, had it been autographed is n/a. Hope this helps.

I have the Reggie Miller one that is die-cut and says ripped...but says nothing about an auto on it...and it was pack pulled and I traded for it.
