One year after taking running back Laurence Maroney in the first round, could the New England Patriots really select another back?

Maroney had some injury issues last season (knee, ribs, postseason shoulder surgery) and technically has shared carries ever since his freshman year at Minnesota.
With more and more teams letting two backs share the load, and Sammy Morris best served in a backup role, the Patriots could look to add depth atop their running back rotation.
