Local writer Mike Wells just reported on his Twitter, that the Pacers have signed former Denver Nuggets G Dahntay Jones to a 4 year deal, worth $11 million. I haven't seen it reported on any sports sites yet so I don't have a link, but Wells doesn't post stories unless it's legit. I'm pretty happy about the signing myself. Jones is what we need, a wing player with lockdown defense capabilities.

Welcome to Indy, Dahntay!

Sad to see him go.
He played amazing defense.

Good luck to him with the Pacers.

I hope he doesn't take Brandon Rush's spot.. I really like Rush..

Wait,he's not white! :) :)

Hahaha! But he is a Duke Blue Devil, which now gives us 3 (Dunleavy, McRoberts, Jones). Maybe people will now accuse Bird of being biased towards Duke players.

McRoberts stinks, watch for him to get released

From someone who obviously has no idea what they're talking about. Larry Bird has already stated that he has every intention of re-signing Josh McRoberts to an extension.

I'm not trying to knock your team but Bird is probably one of the worst Team Presidents in the NBA. He likes bad players and players with bad attitudes.

Again you obviously have no idea what you're talking about. Look at the Pacers roster and point out even ONE player who is known for having a bad attitude. Bird has rebuilt the team in the past 2 years getting rid of players that had issues.

I'm a Pistons fan and a basketball nut and Bird has just made some bad moves and bad draft picks......Granger and Rush were probably the best 2 picks he has made they still have.

And how does any of that back up your last 2 comments being flat out incorrect? Are you just making this stuff up as you go?

Jones is a very nice signing though as he is a pretty good defender with some offensive skills but they are limited.
