For those of you who also collect sports figurines, I found this news on the Mcfarlane site today, and thought some of you may be interested in the details.
"The Walter Payton 12-inch figure: We are going to release a 12-inch Walter Payton figure this fall to Toys R Us and specialty retailers. It will be released in two different paint versions. There will be three white jersey figures being released for every blue jersey figure, and the support pole for the figure will be about 25% shorter than its 6-inch cousin. It’s expected in stores in late October."
Also announced today. They will look like the Yankee one below, but obviously in the 49ers. These are 6 inch figures.
"The 49ers Legends 3-pack: We will be offering a 49ers Legends 3-pack to all retailers this fall, featuring Joe Montana and Ronnie Lott from NFL Legends 2 and a re-paint of the Jerry Rice figure from the Jerry Rice/Deion Sanders 2-pack. Rice will be featured wearing the 49ers jersey from the late 1980s."
