Olympic Team announced, who shouldn't have made it

Looking over the list of players below, who do you guys believe shouldn't be on the team.

Carmelo Anthony Jason Kidd Carlos Boozer Chris Paul Chris Bosh Tayshaun Prince Kobe Bryant Michael Redd Dwight Howard Dwyane Wade LeBron James Deron Williams

I think most are good selections. I am worried about Michael Redd and Tayshaun prince the most. I also worry about Jason Kidd as he is pretty old. I think Lebron, Kobe, Deron, and LEbron were good picks and basically locks.

so are BOOZER and HOWARD out "centers" wow... I have a bad feeling about this year...looks like we are ALL guards and small forwards

The real question is: Can anyone on the roster defend/make the 3 pointers? (That's what got us creamed last time!)

Carmelo Anthony - won't start, but I still think it's a smart move
Jason Kidd - I can think of some other people on this team before the old guy (bad ex. Iverson)
Carlos Boozer - did Garnett turn us down? If so, it was by default
Chris Paul - CP3 should be here, so good move guys!
Chris Bosh - I like his stuff, will be the 2nd center behind Howard
Tayshaun Prince - He's only here for defense, so scoring is a plus
Kobe Bryant - see LeBron for my 2 cents
Michael Redd - This is questionable, this should a PF/C spot, not Redd
Dwight Howard - you needed one true center, so why NOT him
Dwyane Wade - is he healthy enough for this right now??? My only question on him
LeBron James - no LeBron = no gold
Deron Williams - 6th man on this team should show some scoring

The days of international teams rolling over for USA are gone so they should stop playing around and send their STRONGEST team!

I like Chris Paul in that team... wasn't too long ago he played college ball which is similar to international rules. I think he should be the starting PG.

International rules however have moved closer and closer to the rules of the NBA. I was kinda surprised that a player like Bowen wasn't on the team.

it's sad when Team USA gets beat internationally, but usually team is a misnomer anymore

I disagree... it isn't sad when USA gets beaten because they DONT show international teams respect by naming a second string team.
Disrespect your opponents at your peril I say.

I don't think USA needs a defensive specialist like Bowen because international ball isn't one on one like the NBA. Its all about team strategies and doing your role properly. One on One defence specialists won't fit in.

Beside USA should play to their strengths instead of playing to contain other teams since they SHOULD (maybe not) be the best team at the olympics. Doesn't make sense to alter your game to other teams' when you are superior.
