BEST CONFERENCE: AFC or NFC
AFC by a landslide. The four best teams are all in the AFC.
BEST TEAM: Patriots (this is a dumb category because most of us will say our favorite team
)
BREAKOUT TEAM OF 2007 SEASON:
I don't see a clear choice, but I would go with the Browns. Of course, this means they will win 6-8 games instead of 4.
Also, the Steelers will be much improved. Get Motorcycle boy back to being a game manager rather than a stats guy and they'll be right back in the hunt. Scariest defense in the league still IMO.
TEAM POISED TO FALL IN 2007:
I will preface this by saying my interpretation of falling is to underachieve and do worse than last year. My pick would be the Chargers. They will make the playoffs, but as the wildcard behind Denver. I greatly question Norv Turner's ability to be a head coach, and head coach is a pretty important role.
Otherwise, I'd say Dallas. Romo is no longer an unknown.
BEST PLAYER(S): Top 5 players IYO
1- Brady (biased of course, what else would I say)
2- Manning
3- LT
4- LJ
5- Brian Dawkins (kind of a stretch, but the Eagles D wouldn't be much without him)
BREAKOUT PLAYER(S) TO WATCH in 2007
Gotta go with the Cutler-Brandon Marshall duo. Also, Welker hopefully will be recognized as an upper tier WR.
PRE PRE SEASON CONFERENCE CHAMP PREDICTIONS
AFC- Patriots
NFC- I'd like to say the Giants, but they won't get there under Coughlin, so I'll go with Carolina. Tough category to pick...I'd like to go with New Orleans but I don't know if their defense will hold up and if they can repeat the magic last year. I picked Carolina because if they can get in the playoffs, they have as good a chance as anyone, along with the experience of already having been there.
PRE PRE SEASON SUPER BOWL WINNER PREDICTIONS[/QUOTE]
Patriots. If it isn't them, it will be an AFC team (in order of likelihood, Ravens, Colts, Steelers, Chargers)
