op:
Maryland WR Darrius Heyward-Bey has reportedly been cracking the 4.2s during test runs at the Athletes' Performance Institute.
Heyward-Bey ran 4.23 as a freshman in college. He's bigger than he was then, but the high 4.2s should be about right. DHB will draw a lot of attention this week. It will also be interesting to see how tall he actually is Thursday.

It certainly wont help. I can see him falling a little, but not much. I guess it depends what the other WRs do.Think Crabtree will fall any? 2 inches shorter than expected, and now has a micro-fracture in either his ankle or foot, and he won't run the 40.
And yes, Andre Smith is falling. Apparently he isn't participating at the Combine because he's out of shape... doesn't really help the concerns about his weight/work ethic questions.
Why is he refusing working out? I just flipped on the Combine and they were talking about Smith and how he should have at least been there in a sweatshirt, even if he wasn't going to do the drills. Him not being there at all is a huge red flag and will cause his stock to fall.Yeah......................................... I wonder what happened to that reported 322

And if he is 322 and worked to get his weight down before the Combine, why isn't he participating? Kind of hard to be out of shape and weigh in 18 lbs. lighter than his playing weight Is he injured and doesn't want to admit it? It doesn't bode well for the work ethic issues.
