New Stuff In And Pick Ups Ft/fs....

You said before Bird, Magic, and Mj, there are only a handful of players people want, that may be true, but Id take most of them over almost any baseball player of that same time b/c they are probably worth more. Besides that if you think about it the NBA was pretty much being built back then, until like the 60's-70's all there really were were the Globetrotters, and the ABA. The sport of baseball uses 4 players more each game (just counting when they are playing a game, not counting subs or backups that could be put in) than the sport of basketball. Baseball was created and played for many years before basketball was even thought of. So I guess if you want to say the old stuff moves better, Id have to say you're right, only b/c there are about 40-50 years more cards in baseball, and a lot more players to go after. So I guess if you want the glory of saying a T-206 Wagner moves better than a Wilt Chamberlain rookie make my day, just realize the fact that the Wagner is about 50-60 years older and is one of the rarest and most valuable cards in the world, I guess there might be a little bit of an interest in it. If you want I guess you can say you won. I still know your an idiot.

It's supply and demand. There just isnt as big a market for BK as there is for BB and FB. I didnt make it that way the market did. NBA has been around as long as the NFL. Check your Beckett. They made cards for both in 1948. The didnt make BK cards again until 57/58, then again in 61/62 and not steady until 69/70. I'm not talking about a Wagner vs a Wilt. High end players are always going to get their $$. WHAT I'm talking about is the genre as a whole. There are more people collecting older BB and FB players (like i said pre Jordan etc) than there are collecting BK players. Just my opinion, don't get testy.

Open it up for a discussion.
