Below are the salaries of all the NBA teams based on information from hoopshype.com What teams do you think have really used their money wisely? I like the Hornets. They are 19th in payroll yet have one of the most interesting and exciting teams in the league. They are also one of the most competive teams in the strong western conference. Teams that I think are failing would be the Mavs, Knicks, Nuggets, and Blazers as all teams are performing poorly for the amount they are paying out.

Detroit at 18 is pretty impressive. They have a very good shot at winning it all with a (relatively) low payroll.

I have to agree. Detroit is a perennial contender, with a bottom half pay roll.

Utah, NO & Orlando will change soon, with Deron Williams, Chris Paul, & Dwight Howard getting a large pay raise soon.

On a side note, it sure is nice to see the Blazers down to $74M For quite a few years they were up around $125M

I think the Mavs are worse then the Knicks. I mean they spend 17 million dollars more then all other teams. Heck they spend $35 million more than the spurs and they cannot beat them when it matters.
