Alonzo did not meet the Raptors medical requirements.

Not even close. He didnt even report to Toronto. Why would Toronto make a trade for a guy before his physical if thats the case? Because if he didnt meet it, the trade would have been dead.

Alonzo himself said he would not even report. The only way out was for Toronto to pay $10 million cash and he demanded to go to Miami. He even demanded out of New Jersey. He didnt want to earn a ring. He wanted to be traded to a contender so that he could get a ring the easy way! Thats a sell out!

He did not report, but the Raptors reported that he did not meet their medical requirements.

“Since the trade, we have taken the time to fully understand Alonzo’s medical situation. Our doctors have thoroughly reviewed his records and consulted with other independent specialists and have determined that Alonzo does not meet our medical conditions to play for our basketball team,” said Raptors General Manager Rob Babcock. “While we realize it may be possible for him to play in limited circumstances, we’ve been able to confirm our expectations that because of his medical issues he would not be able to fit into our long-term strategy of building something sustainable."

“We felt it was in the best interests of the Raptors to reach a financial settlement which would provide us additional financial flexibility. We are pleased with the deal we’ve been able to make and wish Alonzo the best in his future.”
 
1. Kobe - Denied being drafted by everyone not named the Lakers.
2. Chris Anderson - It's a blocked shot. It's been done before.
3. Sasha Vagichick - Who can stand him?
4. JR Smith - See Chris Anderson - exchange 'block shot' with whatever JR just did.
5. Kobe - Did I mention him already?
5a. Rasheed Wallace - 'Both teams played hard.'

This may not turn out to be a very good Western Conf. Finals for me. Go ROCKETS!
 
vujacic is a no talent hack who can only hit the occasional 3, lol. i can respect kobe more even though i dont really like him cuz he's a great player. sasha just rides on the coattails of a good team; if he were on any other squad, he'd be a 12th man with no respect and most fans wouldnt even know who he was.
 
in no particular order...and i'm trying to keep my bias as a blazer fan aside...but i will have a couple examples of people against former/current blazers

1) Sasha Vujacic...according to him, he never committed a foul in his life...even when its in a must-foul situation (see end of game 1 vs Houston)
2) Kevin Garnett...he's just a punk now...throws lots of cheap shots, picks fights with smaller guys and mean mugs WAY TOO MUCH from the bench!
3) Fabricio Oberto-now THIS guy is is the flop king!! (Przybilla flops a bit, but alot of the time he's taken it hard off the chest...Oberto flops when a stiff breeze touches him)
4) Lamar Odom...seriously, another cheap shot/mean mugging guy who likes to pick fights with people smaller than him (Jarrett Jack, Brandon Roy, etc)
5) Shaquille O'neal...this guy elbows hooks the defender almost every time he spins to the basket and NEVER gets called for it


and honorable mention

6) ANY REF THAT GIVES STAR CALLS!!! If theyre a star, they dont need the star calls!!!
