I am not so sure. They had to do something. With the getting on the knees for Favre, thye had to get help. Pretty much by courting hypocrite Favre they are saying it was this year or never,

Pats will have double picks in rounds 1, 2, 3, 4 of 2011 draft. Their picks plus Oakland's 1, Carolina's 2, Minnesota's 3, Denver's 4.

looking at it from a GM's point of view it makes all the sense in the world. from a fans POV: not happy.

Next years draft should be an interesting one. Alot of holes can be filled
