Yeah, I'd absolutely take him up on that! My price would be low, too. I'd just want a picture of myself with him and the card. Then I'd just print that picture out and have that in place of the card. If he could get some memorabilia or team autographs, too, that'd be a great added bonus but just the experience (and proof) that this happened would be awesome enough on its own, at least for me!
