Baseball Mets pitcher told to take his braclets off

Homeplate umpire told Mets pitcher R.A.Dickey to take off his braclets that his little girls had made him,Mr.Dickey has been wearing them all season and now he had to cut them off during the game as his daughters where probably watching at home.This just erks me way to much because I have 3 wonderful kids,2 of them I haven't seen in 2 years,I would wear anything they make me no matter what it is.My biggest problem is that the MLB allows players to wear gold chains that go down to the lettering of their jerseys but they make this grown man cut off braclets that his children made for him.The MLB really needs to work on what is right and not right.

Totally agree. The umpires can't play pick and choose when it comes to enforcing the rules
