Why would you trade him to your division rival? The Redskins gave up the 37th pick in this years draft, and a 4th in the 2011 draft.

Only if you are absolutely convinced you getting over on them. Interesting deal. I wonder if Philly thinks that McNabb is too old to be effective in a new system. They did get good value in return though.
Jimmy Clausen's reps must be pissed to learn about this deal.
