Baseball Manny says: TRADE ME!

Johan Santana #57

Bench Warmer
Manny tells reporters that if they want to trade him he will waive his NTC and take a trade. Little arrogant when he used the third person to describe himself, making it seem like the Red Sox cant win without him but he will go to another team and help them win.

Who can he be traded to? Mets? dare I say, Yanks? Braves? Phils? Who would take him, will he go anywhere? Would you want him?

Your thoughts...

Well I dont think he really said "TRADE ME". He just says if they trade him he would be okay with that. I dont think no way no how he will get traded. Boston loves him...

he has his beefs, remember he got up against Mariano to pinch hit and let 3 pitches go right down the middle. He doesn't like Epstein and nor do they. Phillies wnat to move Burrell, why not trade straight up!

I would never do that deal straight up. Ramirez is just a better player and more personality. Also i think they want some young players

blue burrel is not yet in his prime he is still a lil young but the deal straght up would never fly even thou manny only has like 4 yeas left and for how many of those years can he be dominet? i really want to see how this plays out

I don't think he will go to the NL. The only reason he plays LF is because it is so small at fenway. I can see him in a White Sox uniform IF he plays for another team, but I don't see it happening.

Im a philly fan...IMO PAT IS NOT IN HIS PRIME, HE DOESN'T HAVE A PRIME...LOL...he is 32...not 25...also that would be the supidest move in HISTORY for the red sox to give up manny for the phillies...even though i would be extactic, burrell is nto young AT ALL...in 3 years he'll be a old bag that can't play baseball anymore...i'll even bet money on that...he's not a good as you think he is, him and ryan howard are going to be the next strikeout king (NOT for a pitcher...lol) just like mike schmidt...if schmidt wouldn't have struck out as much he would have been twice as good. all burrell does is swing for the fences. thats not what the game is about, its about getting on base to score runs...burrell has been in the league 8 years (not including this year) and has 1,137 strikeouts...mike schmidt had 958...and scmidt struck out A LOT! so lets see how much he ends up with...he also has been in the top ten in strikeouts 6/8 years...uh, WOW! thats horrible...lol
