He was just on a program on A&E on Monday night talking about addiction, and getting his life together. Seems like everytime he does that, he gets arrested about a week later.

4:04 p.m. - - The Ramapo Police held a press conference a little while ago and confirmed LT is about to be charged with third-degree **** and soliciting a prostitute. Taylor, who is expected to be arraigned momentarily, has been cooperative, the police said. He allegedly paid the 16-year-old girl $300 for ***.

Ramapo Chief of Police Peter Brower would not say if Taylor knew the girl was underage, but said “Ignorance is not an excuse to an individual’s age.”

Taylor could be facing up to four years in prison.

4:22 p.m. - - At the press conference, Ramapo Town Supervisor Christopher St. Lawrence indicated that police do not suspect Taylor of beating the 16-year-old girl. In fact, he said, the black eye she suffered “occurred prior to her entering the room.”

Ramapo police chief Peter Brower also said Taylor “was very concerned about being accused of injuring the victim.”

Taylor has been arraigned and his bail has been set at $75,000.
