Lions running back Kevin Smith injured his right shoulder and walked off the field in the third quarter Sunday against the Washington Redskins.
Smith was hurt on a run and went to the sideline, trying not to move his right arm. After getting evaluated on the bench by the training staff, he went toward the locker room.
He left the game with 101 yards rushing, helping the Lions take a lead into the fourth quarter as they tried to end a 19-game losing streak.
