Jorge Garbajosa made an offer by the Lakers

The lakers today offered a contract to Garbajosa. Garbajosa is a friend of Pau Gasol and most likely will probably accept the contract for that reason. Not sure where they will put him on the roster, however he may be looking at Coby Karl's spot or the spot vacated by Turiaf if they do not match his offer.

Not a bad sign for the lakers, he's not Ron Artest, or Maggette, or Jermaine O'neal, or.... I'm sure he wasnt their first choice

I think they are still going after Artest. I think they will be able to sign Garbajosa and still be able to get Artest.
