Actually, something like this has happened before. I know in 1990, Michael Jordan took batting practice with the Chicago White Sox as a PR/Charity move. Upper Deck capitalized on the event by taking photos and releasing a Michael Jordan baseball card as a short print with their 1991 set. Of course, only 3 years later the "real" MJ baseball cards came out when he retired from basketball and took up baseball.
