I thought this was comical and baseball has gotten totally out of hand with these salaries. Teams are going to price themselves out of business when people stop paying exorbant prices for tickets and a hotdog.

Werth jumps the Philly ship and you have say one thing for Scott Boras, that slimeball is the ultimate Pimp.

Nobody of his track record is "werth" that type of money. Nobody in their right mind will tell you that $18 mil/year if a good price for him, and I mean nobody!

sorry to see werth go but that money that he got was ridiculous he was one of the role players around are stars not the star and thats how they paid him great player but definitly not werth all that...
