Do you guys think that the Bulls' record of 72 wins in a season is under threat?

The Lakers are currently 12-1 and have been impressive!
Just check out how they spanked the Nets by almost 30!
Kobe had an off night, Gasol sat the entire 4th quarter.

I think the record is definitely under threat but whether it will be broken, I dunno ;)

i think they could and probably will get close to 70, but i don't see them breaking it. maybe its my bias as a lifelong Bulls fan, idk, but only losing 10 times is very tough to do. Even a 2 game "slump" puts breaking the record in jeopardy.

Big statement ^^^ Straight to the point lol - I love it :D

Hey Ewilkens, speaking of back to back losses, I remember the Bulls were on target for a MUCH better record then they were shocked two games in a row. One loss was to Denver, a noob team back then and that hurted their record a lot.

You are right mate - the Lakers can't afford to drop a couple of soft games :)

That brought back memories! :D

Denver broke that 18 win streak :(

I counted 3 losses by the Bulls that were just by one point

If the Knicks didn't stole a playoff win in overtime, the Bulls would have had a 15 win streak in the playoffs!
WOW! Puts everything into perspective doesn't it?

The Lakers don't have much of a chance do they? :)

No not with the number of quality basketball teams there are in BOTH conferences. To me though the east is BETTER then the west.

What are they 16-1. I am not going to doubt any team that is this deep and strong. This is like the Dallas teams from a few years ago, but with a true finisher on the team and more depth. They have 10 players that could get legit time on almost any team in the league.

I say if they make it to 38-3 at the midpoint that they will probably do it.
