but I can't seem to get interested in collecting Calvin Johnson cards :think:maybe it's the fact of C.Rodgers/M.Williams and the loot I dumped on them to see their fate with the Lions:doh: Maybe if he turns into the modern day Herman Moore:dance:

well, i usually dont have the funds to chase after a first round pick, so i settle for the higher round guys (like gradkowski before he started and quincy black this year).
maybe try focusing on a few certain high value cards, just in case. that way, you are investing in him, but if he is a bust, you dont blow all the cash you would have?

my team trades their draft picks away. When they do draft, they draft defensive players with the top picks (not expensive sans Tatupu) then get receivers in the later rounds (again, not expensive)

I haven't had a problem collecting anyone since I got back into collecting heavy in 2005.
