So Rickey Henderson was named hitting coach for the Mets today. Yet, the article states:
How can you have a hitting coach that doesn't work with the hitters? To sum up:
1) Henderson named Hitting Coach
2) Hojo will do most of the work
3) Mets have yet to determine how much their new "Hitting Coach" will work with the hitters.
????????????????????????
OK, so Hojo will be doing most of the work. Then later in the article:Rickey Henderson is in place to help invigorate the offense, though Howard Johnson and not Henderson will assume most or all of Down's responsibilities.
Still undetermined is whether Henderson will coach first base, and how much he will work with the hitters.
