I am SO MAD right now!

After reading this, I am not only pissed as a Bengal Fan, but also as a Human Being and an American (No offense Kelly)
This DA needs to be fired, sued and anything else possible!

He didnt say anything that everyone else wasn't already thinking.

But at least we know why the Bengals have the problems they do. Nice work by Lewis saying the police in the area are profiling the players and charging them because of who they are.... Then retracting those statements...

Henry made mistakes, no doubt! We all have and the only reason we know of his is because he is a high profile person. If not for that nobody would hear about it or care.

He is also trying to get himself right and deserves a second chance at that like anyone else.

Thinking it is one thing, but saying it on the record when you are in a position of power and a public figure is as bad as it gets.

The only reason Marvin re-canted it is because I am sure he was worried about the ramifications from the league. Something this DA is obviously NOT worried about, BUT SHOULD BE!

Big difference between doing your job and a WITCH HUNT and DEFIMATION OF CHARACTER from a DA who is OBVIOUSLY out to get him!

Henry is a lowlife criminal just like Pac Man and if either of them were not NFL players they would already be in jail and no one would care how they were being treated. That is the exact way these guys should be treated. Not like stars but like regular people.

Exactly

I thought a DA's job was to convict those accused of crimes? Of course he's out to get him.

I am all for second chances, but not for 3rd and 4th chances. I for one am glad the new commission is harshly penalizing players who's off field conduct is detrimental to the perception of the league. And I personally don't care if people have not been convicted of crimes to warrant the league's scrutiny.

If players are putting themselves into situations where accusations can even be made that they are breaking the law or engaging in activities that put a negative light on them, the team's they represent, and the league as a whole, then I'm all for the league telling them they are not welcome there until they clear their names. I'd rather see the league on a guilty until proven innocent stance. It sure would act as a deterent for those that believe they are above the law or feel that if they're not caught there is no risk on their million dollar careers. I applaud the league for slapping these guys in the mouth and treating them like babies.

Sure it opens up a potential situation where an innocent person gets accused of something and suffers a consequence unjustly, but I think the deterrent alone will benefit the league as a whole and the end will justify the means.

The LEAGUE is not what I have a problem with at all! I agree they deserved the suspension for what they did in the past, but to make false reports and release them is illegal and a DA should KNOW BETTER and they also are NOT above the law. What the Kenton Co. DA did was illegal and wrong! I do not fault the Commish at all for what he did and I completely agree with it!

What Henry did was also illegal and wrong. He would never have had this happen if he had stayed out of trouble to begin with. I dont feel sorry for him at all. Its not like its going to ruim Henrys reputation.

Reputation? That is NOT what I am talking about! This is a clear violation of his CIVIL rights! Ever hear of HIPPA? That is just PART of it!

I dont see the connection. Henry violated my civil rights by driving on the same streets as me while intoxicated. He could have killed or injured lots of people. He did this not once, but a number of times.

You do not see with a Violation of the HIPPA is a Violation of Civil rights? Look up the HIPPA laws. If someone violates those it is a CIVIL RIGHTS infraction. I know from personal experience because We had a nurse violate my Wife's and she lost her job and the Dr. office was fined! This all from calling the civil rights location in Chicago about the HIPPA Violation

Nevermind. I did it for you!

Im going to read it, because I really dont care to. But you dont agree mt cival right were violated when he drove drunk?;)

I also care about Chris Henrys civil rights about as much as I do for the POS church group that have been protesting at all of the soldiers funerals the last few years.
