How much weight can the golf carts carry?

you know the ones that come on the field to pick up an injured player.

i was thinking about it thursday while watching the philly game, the guy that went down in the 4th qtr. wasn't exactly tiny and when they lifted him into the back end of the cart, 2 more guys sat on the end of it and one road shotgun next to the driver. so you figure 5 guys, the smallest one was the driver who was probably under 200lbs, than you have 3 coaches that are heafty boys and the player who is probably 300lbs. that lil cart was carrying over 1000lbs and just scooting along.

i started wondering if they have a suped up engine in them to carry that much weight.

I'm sure they took that into account when they designed the carts.

Can you imagine if a guy who might be paralyzed fell off the cart because the thing collapsed or something?

well when they were scooting across the field i was wondering what kinda crap they'd be in if it collapsed cause that was a lot of weight
