Unless you live under a rock, or have been in a coma for the last few weeks, you know that the NFL has been rocked by stories of Domestic Violence / Dispute.

The big question here is... why are these players still on the team rosters when, in fact:

- Hardy was convicted of misdemeanor assault charges. Hardy has appealed and is requesting a "jury trial" this time.

- Rice, who has continuously stated he is innocent, was shown on a video tape not only hitting his finance (now his wife), but knocking her unconscious. Yes, he has been suspended by the NFL, but the Players Union is appealing the suspension. (NOTE: The Players Union IS NOT saying Rice is not guilty, they are appealing on the fact that he was punished once for the "crime" and cannot be punished a second time for the same "crime".)

- Peterson has admitted to the "whooping" of a four year old child with a switch that caused bruising and cuts on the child's back and legs (and according to text messages he sent to the child's mother, there was a mark on the boy's scrotum from the switch). Need more information? Google any news media for the Police Report. A second "accusation" from 2013 has surfaced, but from what the reports are saying, Child Protective Services DID NOT act on the complaint. The Governor of Minnesota has asked for the Vikings to suspend Peterson. The Teams MAJOR sponsor, Radisson, has pulled it's sponsorship, and it has been reported that NIKE has pulled it's sponsorship from Peterson. It should be noted that, over the last few years, there have been several Vikings' players who have been accused of "crimes". All have been second stringers or non-star players. All were released by the Vikings prior to "due process".

- Dwyer, who (according to the police report) was arrested and booked on "one count of aggravated assault causing a fracture, one count of aggravated assault involving a minor, two counts of criminal damage, one count of preventing the use of a phone in an emergency, and assault." According to the report, Dwyer "admitted to the incidents, however, denied any physical assaults."

I have to wonder... how many times has this happened in the past... and the teams and the NFL swept it under the rug.

This whole domestic violence scenario reminds me of Mike Tyson's Biography were he admits the best punch he ever landed was on ex-wife Robin Givens.

Gene Simmons (KISS) said it best:
Ray Rice needs to go to Jail and become somebody's girlfriend
