When did you first start cheering for the Canadiens?
I remember when I was a kid, I was a HUGE Rangers fan.. And the only reason that I chose them, was because I thought Tony Amonte had the coolest name ever. Then one year, I got a playoff tree to stick on the fridge, and fill out as I went, and the day I got it, I got to see a Habs game on TV, and I just loved watching every second of the game, and afterwards, I filled out the playoff tree, and had Montreal winning the cup, because thats what I wanted! And that was the last year that we won the cup! Ever since that first game I saw them, I've been a HUGE fan.. And I dont like the Rangers, or Amonte, anymore!
Thats my trip down memory lane for the day.. What about everyone else>

I'm only 18 but I started watching hockey back in 96-97, just around the time when Roy got traded I believe. I've always been surrounded by Habs fans so it's in my blood, so to speak but for the longest time I was actually an AVS fans simply because of Patrick Roy. I always liked him and he still is my alltime favorite so when he retired I kind of lost interest in hockey. I really got back into it when I heard of this kid Carey Price, instantly reminded me of the Roy days and I've been a die-hard Habs fan ever since. When Sergei Kostitsyn finally got called up from Hamilton last year it just sent me over the top, I got back into collecting, bought his jersey and the rest is history.
