Sergio Garcia discussed a possible rules violation with PGA Tour officials at Quail Hollow Golf Club after a television viewer called in because it appeared he had marked his ball improperly on the 17th green.

ENOUGH WITH THE CALL INS! BET THIS IS THE SAME GUY THAT WOULD CRY TO MOMMY WHEN HIS SISTER GOT AN EXTRA JELLY BEAN AT EASTER.

SERIOUSLY, I AM SO TIRED OF THE VIEWERS CALLING IN.

WHAT WOULD THE SPORTS WORLD DO IF VIEWERS BEGAN TO CALL IN DURING A FOOTBALL GAME AND POINTED OUT A MISSED CALL... AND THE NFL WOULD SAY "OH YEAH, YOU'RE RIGHT... 15 YARD PENALTY!... AND THE TOUCHDOWN DOESN'T COUNT."

THIS IS RIDICULOUS!

Yup I'm fed up with the call ins.
Absolutely ridiculous.

I think Sergio should have been hit with a penalty though.
Unless there has been a rule change that I'm unaware of, you can't mark a ball sideways (not too many golfers know this) not to mention the possible error in placing his ball.

I think the officials are being lenient with the TV call ins.
I guess they are fed up too lol

I'm fed up with the call-ins, too. I think you can mark a ball sideways, if your marker is in the line of the other guys putt, but you have to put it back where it was originally when it's your turn to putt.
