no they would not have. The only team they beat that year was OU, and we all know how they perform in bowls since they played a weak FSU team for their only Stoops title, and Ole Miss also beat Florida at Florida this year, but since you probably did not know that so I will give you a pass on that one.

I think OU is very very good everywhere except their head coach.

Texas Tech's pansy *** team has been exposed.......but I'm still trying to figure out where the hell this OU defense came from.

OU came to play and is killing them. Hats off to them as they clearly are playing to potential. On a side note #76 for Texas Tech looks like a cartoon charachter

I was told that in practice the defense was just going out of their minds hyped up for this game. They studied the Texas vs. Tech game and saw what they needed to improve on to shut them down.

Nice to see the Red Raiders get whats coming to them. I've been waiting to see them leave Lubbock and play a solid team.

I hope Leach goes for greener pastures and gets the same treatment that RRod is having at Michigan.

Now looking at home/road losses I think Texas is the team that deserves to represent the South.

Wouldnt it be a BCS mess if Mizzou upsets the BIG 12 South rep?

Yes it would. Yeah you got to put Texas ahead of OU but I wouldnt mind if they didnt.LOL Although I think OU is playing great right now. I just dont see why they cant play 1 vs 4 in the orange and 2 vs 3 in the sugar or wherever and let the winners play for it all. Would that not be awesome!!!!!!!!!!!

But you are forgetting something very key here. Most voters are dumbass "what have you done for me lately" types. I'd be pretty surprised if OU doesn't pass Texas despite the head to head.

Why don't they just take the f'ing winners of all 4 BCS games and put those 4 in a tournament?! I sish they did that and not 4 BCS games and then the national championship.

Just play the 4 games, the 4 winners of those then go into a mini-bracket.

I still think a 12 or 16 team tournament that guaranteed conference winners a ticket in would be nice.

How many conferences have the champion settled before the last week? Are any currently? I dont think it would hurt the regular season as some purists claim.

Just imagine the cost it would take for fans to go to those games though, unless they had some games on the team's home field.
