there appears to be writing on the underside below and to the left of the sticker, is it the # of that auto or what?

yea, each ball is serial #ed, i believe mine is like 242/343, id have to double check for the the exact #. the ball has an upper deck hologram sticker with serial number on it, that matches the ud booklet I have for the limited edition ball.
