i used to make sales all the time now its just getting boring to deal with sports cards
trading is lame to for me now cause shipping just makes you lose money!
anyone here agree?
no problem if you don't it's just the fun is going down
for me at least

I like buying when I can afford it. I also enjoy trading. At least then I can move the stuff that I don't need for the items that I do need. I post on here regularly trying to sell and it's almost impossible to sell on here unless you want to give your cards away for nothing. Ebay has ruined this hobby.

kordell if you ever need to buy let me know
and ill let you know wen i need to also
pie you prolly have amazing stuff lol
sometimes ill put up an 80 dollar card and people will offer me 10 bux! really!?
come on now
ebay has definitely ruined this
the 80 dollar card i pulled doesnt even get a bid
one bid is 99 cents! thats ridiculous
y even buy boxes now a days then if you cant sell anything

Ebay has NOT ruined this hobby, more along the lines of BECKETT has!!! Ebay dictates what a card is REALLY worth, not a guide with a few people just jotting prices into a computer and then never updating them ever again. A card is worth whatever someone will pay, not what some stupid GUIDE says......

I sell a ton on here and other forums.

If you're using beckett to try to sell, you'll never sell. I cannot tell you how many people tell me a card books such & such and can't understand why I am asking my price.

Beckett has been and is nothing more than a paperweight in this industry today

It's not just Beckett that is hurting the hobby, it is the Sportscard companies themselves - overproduction. Once that occurs add in the simple law of supply and demand, and there you go. Ebay has actually helped many collectors, I agree prices may have gone down a bit at times, but that just gives even more creedence to Beckett not knowing what they are talking about (not that what they do is easy by any means). A good part of the lack of buying is that the hobby has turned more towards adults, the economy is in the pooper and the companies continue to pump out product with seemingly worse and worse quality control.

just my 2 cents.

ehhh
well i dont care wat anyone says a rare auto isnt only worth 99 cents lol
depends on who it is of...

If it is from someone that is no longer in the league, then it probably won't be worth much.
