#d 264/xxx SPx

Been away from home for two weeks, so there was a whole container of mail at the Post Office to be picked up. Make sure to check Mail Day thread later. But, within the ole bucket of mail were two additions to the SPx 264/ PC.

I was really glad to snag this one, before moving from Bowling Green. #240....

#241 was a bit confusing, as I totally had forgotten about it. I received a PM from tyrodsports in mid-November, stating that he had received his cards from a break and while scanning, noticed the numbering. Rodney, thanks for the freebie.

2008 SPx Ben Moffitt 264/399

Can you say four at a time....say "264/ SPx" four times real fast. When you do, the last time you will say 246/ SPx.... :p

#242 - comes by the way of the Matt Ware Super Collector, jrlebert. Back on September 2, this card was up on ebay with a BIN. When I saw the auction, I opened it up and clicked on the picture to ensure that it was a 264/. By the time I hit the BIN, someone else had bought it. Of course I freaked, but after some investigative work, I found out who purchased it. So, I was at ease, figured it would make it my way at some point. Well it showed up today (he also added another 264 "variant").....

Thank you, JR!

#243 and 244 come off the bay and out of the 2010 product. With these three additions, I know have 98 base/rookie 264/ SPx.

Back towards the end of November, Brian (bajmurray) gave me the heads up that this card was in a 254 card lot. Brian said he had intentions of trying to buy the lot, but when said and done he didn't. Fortunately, I have been able to figure out the winning bidder (as long as I have bid too... ;) ).

Contacted them and after some brief negotiations, he was more than happy to send my way. So, I present to you #246

As luck would have it, we pulled a 264/ in Pejarox's 2010 SPx Case group break. As bad luck would have it, I didn't own the team. As great luck and generosity of a fellow member would offer it up to me....batman1641. The deed will not go undone.

Thanks, Michael. for #247....

Will scan when I get home for a better pic.

Not long ago, you recall me whining about a seller listing a 264 and canceling my bid, only to re-list again and again cancel my bid. Well, as I was hoping deep down inside it would show up and that card made it's way to me today. No longer on the MIA list.

Thanks to jaderock (Peter). Talk about being a Saint. Thank you for #248 and a milestone addition at that. This is #100 for Auto/Jerseys in the SPx 264/ PC.

2003 SPx Terrell Suggs 0264/1100

#249 is the first addition of 2011. I actually ran across this one by looking at a scan in the ebay auction. No serial # listed. This makes the 3rd or 4th one that I have acquired by checking out the scans.....man that is a lot of looking....

2002 SPx Ron Johnson 264/999

Reached a milestone in the SPx 264/ PC. Number 250.....:party3:

This one also comes with a story of being listed, bid being canceled and then re-listed again. Plus, no number was listed in the listing, had to squint at the scan. This time, I went back to the seller and bought it off line. Welcoming #250....

2009 SPx Kenny Britt 264/549

Both of today's additions comes from the same seller, who lists no numbers and BINs. I found both of these within moments of each other and being listed. I have also purchased at least one other from this seller....:D

I now officially own 20.16% of all unique players, #d 264/xxx in SPx from 1999 to 2009. I own 36.59% of all unique players #d 264/xxx for the 2007 set. Think about that one for a moment....

Presenting #251 & 252...

2009 SPx Tom Brandstater 264/299 (You were correct Justin)

I held a 5 box Group Break of 2008 SPx tonight and managed to pull #253, thanks to kpit1978 for allowing me to swap him a different number for this one.

Thanks, Kevin.

As jaderock inferred, the year of the Rabbit is here. Went to the LCS and grabbed the last box of 2010 SPx. It held my second ever personal SPx 264/ pull and #254 to the PC......(well 3rd if you count the group break...)

Well it is drawing nearer to the milestone of 264. Today's mail delivers 3 more additions, leaving me only 3 to go for the milestone. 2 of which are currently in sight, so leaves the lonely one to locate. Here are this weeks additions.

#259 comes with a story. I was searching photobucket blindly for "2009 SPx". I am so used to looking at scans to find my number, so I figured why not. Well I found this card, did a little searching and found the member on blowoutcards - verbal13. I was able to contact and make a trade....thanks for the addition Kip.

#260 comes from the bay, one of the few times, I contacted the seller to end the listing. It wouldn't have ended until today, so I would have had to wait....

This addition actually gives me 30.08% of all available unique players from the 2008 SPx set. My third year, breaking the 30% mark.

Can't recall of others, so I think #263 is the first "Mr Irrelevant" to the PC:
