All you need to do is watch a Patriot game for evidence. Last night was a great example. "But oh my god, emotions were running high and anyone would have poked another player in the eye in the situation." "With the game pretty much sealed, I would have put a lick on another player at the end of a play as well." It would have served the Pats right if Brady busted his leg Joe Theisman style just to wipe the pompous smerks off their faces. Not that I wish it upon anybody, but it would be something to bring them back down to earth.

I NEVER would want a player to get hurt but when Moss was down last night I was hoping he was out for the season just so I could say I told you so. Instead, the Giants players get hurt when I didn't even want them on the field.

Wayne was in the game for the record right. Then why were Moss and Brady in last night's game at all? And why were they in the games that were blowouts running up the score? I would think it is because they want to pad their stats and make sure they go 16-0.

Someone made a good point about the TD record. I wonder how many more TDs Peyton would've thrown the year he broke the record if they played him the whole season and ran up the scores. NOT showing up your opponents, THAT is class.

Ok Every team does something for the player to get a record , or just stats. As for the Patriots if they lost a game this season then i bet Brady and half the team would not be in the game the past few nights. As for them running up scores well thats on the other teams DEFENSE !!!!!!!!! JUST STOP THEM. If its 4th down you need to stop the team the Pats went on 4th alot this yr either because they didn't want to kick the field goals or they were to close to the endzone to punt. Thats where you need to stop them . I'm so sick sick of hearing this Cheating crap on the Pats all the teams do something wrong but the Pats are the only to to get caught . But i can say its for a reason Bellichek does stuff like that to get rules changed .

Ernie - #1. There is an absolutely huge difference between a guy in thebooth trying to steal signals and putting a guy on the opponent's sideline and have him videotape the other team.

And running up the score is disrespectful. Classless. And completely legal.

I just noticed this thread. I cannot believe how delusional people are.

My take.

1. The New Engalnd Patriots are the most classless organization in all of sports.
2. Bellicheck insisted on playing both Brady and Moss to insure they broke both records they were going after, when they already had homefield locked up.
3. They clearly stated that the records and the perfect season meant nothing to them, but clearly that is what they were playing for.
4. The camera thing had absolutely nothing to do with them winning games
5. They are the Wal-Mart of NFL franchises, they do all the things they have to do to win, no matter how the public perceives them. They do not get caught up paying guys for past performance (Seattle with Shaun Alexander, Dallas- with Emmitt Smtih) and care nothing about name recognition when negotiating. (no one is above the system) (see Ty Law, Willie McGinest and others before them)

I have nothing against the Patriots but the fact that I get sick of the commentators talking about how humble Tom Brady and the organization is, when in fact the opposite is the case.

They need to be credited for their achievements, not for their humility, and for a Pats fan to take a shot at the Colts playing Reggie Wayne is a complete and total joke.
