CBSSports.com notes the Chicago Tribune anticipates Bears RB Matt Forte will still get the majority of workload in the backfield this year even with Chester Taylor now on the roster. In a Q&A session with readers, Bears beat writer Dan Pompei was asked how the workload will be divided between Forte and Taylor this year. "I would anticipate Forte getting 60 to 70 percent of the running back touches -- as long as he's playing at least as well as he did in 2008," Pompei wrote. "If he runs like he did last year, a door is going to be open wide for Taylor to burst through. Whereas the Bears really did not have another good option to the slumping Forte last year, they have one this year." This reiterates what Bears coach Lovie Smith told CBSSports.com at the NFL owner's meeting in Orlando, Fla in March that Taylor was a "a perfect complement" for Forte and not a replacement.
