You should use the crop feature to remove some wasted space and make your scans larger. Then after that you should probably use the auto correct feature and compress your pictures to save space. The Nick Johnson quad patch scan is 136,000 bytes. You could get it down to 45,000 probably, and it will look better after cropping anyways. What do you scan at 200 dpi?
