I mentioned a few days back that on Wednesday 22 Oct 2014 I had gotten a box o'Redskins Base I bought from James TCZ's @cowboy2288 in total there were 80some (84 or so) Skins cards that ranged from roughly 1985 Topps to 2012 Prestige. Oh where to begin with box-loads like this...Will list only a few Highlights:

Several 1991 Upper Deck I think now I have all the Redskins from that set, not 100% sure yet I still have a ton of football cards in boxes that are not cataloged yet.
Ditto with 1985 Topps Think I have all the skins, several of them I have dupes of.
2010 Topps more dupes already had them (and the Ravens) from that year I had purchased the team lot from I forget where now about 2 or 3 years ago.

2013 Topps Baseball MLB Chipz To the best of my knowledge they are not numbered but each player has 5 variations (base, silver, gold, magnetic, and glow in the dark). The Nationals have 5 players represented: Bryce Harper, Stephen Strasburg, Ryan Zimmerman, Gio Gonzalez and Michael Morse. Got a huge batch of Redskins cards for a generic trade via email. In exchange I owe some Baseball 80s-present with some specifics. The Skins were varied years with players that include: Lavar Arrington, Clinton Portis, Santana Moss, Patrick Ramsey, Heath Shuler, Michael Westbrook, and Ryan Kerrigan. Those aren't the only players but a few that pop up more than once.

Package 1 Sportlots lot of 165 OPC 1984 Baseball w/some Dupes helped fill major holes in that set for me. Auction was $5.50 +$5.50 shipping. Not bad not that great either. With the snowy wet weather we have had these last few days the flat rate box was a little wet. The cards fortunately didn't get damaged. They are a little musty smelling and of course have that 1980s Topps card bend/curve to them. Eventually they will be put into a binder to "flatten out".

Package 2 I got from a member from the Sports Card Forum (SCF) I hadn't been there for a long time but had some private messages from a few days/weeks back. So for roughly $40 ($42 really with postage) I got 8 more cards to help with my STRIVE FOR '65 Set BUILD well 7 one is a dupe. That is a $5/card average which is about right for the commons in this set. I am at 1/3 of the way through (a little over 200 cards for the almost 600 card set) and it looks like my goal of having the FULL SET by APRIL 4 will not happen. If I am lucky I might be able to get the other almost 400 cards by the end of this year still somewhat making my goal for completion for the 50th Anniversary. (I might not be around in 25 years for the 75th I'd like to be but no guarantee on that) Here is what I got the last card is about 1/4 of the price:

It is PSA Ex-Mt 6. I will have to free it from it's plastic cell, unless I can get a less spensive copy from the Bay to put in my '65 binder.

One package/box mailday from an Ebay purchase 1 dealer 2 items. EEK I forgot I paid so much for the "smaller" one. Interesting fact of my recent purchases this week or last week the largest item coming in at 11.5" x 16" and the smallest at 1" x 3" I ordered from the same dealer and the larger item was cheaper than the smaller one.

So my two items from Ebay were $3.25 shipping and came in a nice 800 count storage box (BCW) the weird thing about the box is the side needs to be taped together very weird doesn't look modified by seller. Anyway the two items I got were:

1976 Sugar Daddy Sports World 4 Sonny Jurgensen Redskins. As those who collected this things know they were inserted into packages of Sugar Daddy and I think Sugar Mamma candies. Smaller than standard card size measuring only 1" x 3" Weird back mentions 1975 Playoffs and Super Bowl results. Front has Sonny passing and a NY Giant. A case of the info on the back not matching the front. Bad set designing there no error or mistake that I know of. $14.99 ACK! I thought I had just paid $4.99 for it must have been tired when I ordered or thought "What the heck it's rare".

On Thursday 12 Mar 2015: Got a lone package from Brian O'Neal of the Highly Subjective and Completely Arbitrary blog from his Group Break Trade. Payment is to send something in trade for his PC wants/needs. Now I need to send him some stuff from his needs/wants. I found out about the break from another blog The Card Papoy and saw my Homie team the Nationals/Expos were not claimed and surprisingly the Orioles/Browns weren't claimed so I snagged both teams. Most of the products were early 2000s and pre-2005 so it was mostly Expos.

On Saturday 14 March 2015: I got one package from a sportlots purchase for $1.25 plus $6.00 shipping (a little high maybe, but for what it was and coming in at 7oz. maybe maybe not) Six packs of 2012-13 Panini Past And Present Basketball. I plan on opening them sometime since I am going for the set of this. I don't pursue many modern Basketball sets because I only like the Washington Wizards Was Bullets from today's teams.
