Can I get some fantasy help?

I'm about to head to a draft this afternoon and it's a 20 team league. There's only 1 starter at each position, thankfully. Somehow I managed to draw the 3rd pick. I'm predicting tomlinson and either jackson or manning to be off the board. Assuming this draft will be like all the others, which do you think is the most solid 3rd pick? I have a feeling I'll end up with jackson, but I'm open to suggestions. thanks dudes.

It's probably not even worth mentioning, but you guys think alexander will be better than gore, johnson, and addai? I'm not making any claims here, I'm just trying to get a realistic look.

better than Addai for sure. Gore is iffy because of the injury problems but he could be amazing. LJ's line is a shell of what it used to be and the KC pass offense is horrible so defenses can focus on him.

Like above Gore Iffy. LJ Line is hurting he could still have a good season but its 50/50 with the line he has also the QB issues. Addai wouldn't do it also a line prob and just don't think he can keep it going all yr long . Alexander can't miss player has showed it every yr .

Thats it, only options at three are LT, LJ, and Shaun, although if you want to take a big flyer, Bush might go off this year tiki style, lots of rushing AND receiving.... have to gamble to win sometimes

d'oh, sorry... first three in our draft were LT, Steven Jackson, Larry Johnson. Shaun went 4th

If it's a nice high-end money league, slip the #2 drafter a $20 and give him the 3rd pick. Then, take Sjack.

But, everbody else hit it right on the head.

But, I do like Addai and Gore. I'm a gambler, but I think both could go off HUGE.

This is a start 1 league. RBs are only the most important because there aren't 2 good ones to go around for teams to start.

If this is a 6 pt. per TD league for QBs, Manning is the only pick to consider at #2, and a case can be made for #1. If he falls to you, thank the #2 guy for not understanding the league rules. If it is a 4 pt. league, Manning is the #3 guy.

Either way, you have to consider in a start 1, 20team league, would you rather have Manning and Cedric Benson, or Steven Jackson and Ben Roethlisberger at #2, which you can make a case for. But at #3, you are looking at Gore or Larry Johnson and Big Ben, or Gore and Roy Williams. You can't do that if Manning is on the board.
