Milwaukee Bucks center Andrew Bogut will likely be out of action for two to four weeks after suffering a leg muscle strain and contusion during Wednesday's 99-85 win against New Jersey.

Bucks general manager John Hammond said Thursday that the team physician performed an MRI on Bogut and the results showed a strain in his lower left leg as well as a contusion.

The fifth-year center scored 21 points and left Wednesday's game late in the fourth quarter and did not return to action. Hammond said that the prognosis was that he is expected to miss up to four weeks.

Off to a strong start in 2009 after a back injury that limited him to 36 games last season, Bogut is averaging 16.1 points and 9.2 rebounds through nine games.
