Lashley is now 4-0 and he really needs to find some better competition. Bob Sapp is a big name, but his skills are lacking to say the least. Lashley has won impressively in his 3 of his 4 fights, with one of those coming to a decision. He was invited to participate in The Ultimate Fighter 10, but already had this fight lined up, so he declined. I'd love to see them bring him in if someone gets injured (which is sure to happen). The dude is a BEAST. He's the only person I could see being able to match strength with Brock Lesnar. Bob Sapp is 322 pounds and it took Lashley all of about 4 seconds to score a takedown on him. I'm gonna go ahead and call it now.

UFC 110 Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley for the Heavyweight title.

I've gotta give Lashley the edge here, considering the age factor. If this were 10 years ago Lesnar takes this category hands down.

Sapp is sorry, the guy is overhyped. He showed no ground game in that fight. I'm still not sold on Lashley, he couldn't beat destroy a can in Jason Guida. I do think he will get better, especially since he trains with ATT.

EXACTLY!! Take into account that he hasn't been training in MMA very long, his brute strength, and his amateur wrestling credentials and I think once he spends some more time with Top Team, he's going to be a force to be wreckoned with.

Yeah, I would like to see him fight better competition though. You are right that he does have a lot of potential, and can only get better. Can you imagine if Lashley and Brock were to fight for the belt? So much hype would surround that fight. BUT! Lesnar needs to get past Mir first :box:

I'm actually hoping Mir beats him again. A lot of people are rubbed the wrong way by Mir, for whatever reason, but I like him a lot. If it hadn't been for his motorcycle accident, he might have turned into one of the best heavyweights in the business. For his size, he's probably the most technically proficient and most complete all around fighter that there is, in my opinion.
