I love the pickup of Andruw Jones, simply for the price. I think the Vizquel pickup was just a favor from one Venezuelan to another. Either way, that's two solid backups, and who knows, Jones isn't old. Perhaps he's still got some significant years left in him.

Andruw is lazy and out of shape. I would only have him as a bat coming off the bench if I could get him for somewhere near the league minimum.

If they do sign Figgins, Ichiro should leadoff and Figgins should bat 2nd..
