Man this guy was POWER galore when he played! In his Rookie year 1934, he hit 35 HomeRuns and 142 RBI with a .330 BA!!!
Two years later he hit 42 HomeRuns and 162 RBI with a .363 BA!!
He had an eye injury which wouldn't allow him to continue or he would have been one of Baseball's Major POWER Sluggers!
Games; 1,347... Hits; 1,561..Homeruns: 228... RBI 1,012, AVG .302 , this guy was amazing!! From the Iowa area, did a stint with the Indians!
