anyone else having issues with shipping times?

I'd say my shopping frustrations started earlier this year, early to mid summer, and haven't stopped.
Any package that I send that does not require a tracking number, takes anywhere from 2-8 weeks to actually be delivered. It doesn't matter if I'm the receiver or the sender. I find that it also tends to happen more often when shipping to the Midwest, which is where I live.

I've had a couple members reach out to me asking if I ever sent the package, or at least to let me know that they never received the card(s). Once I explain the shipping window time frame, and that there isn't much I can do other than wait a little longer. I haven't ever had a package arrive any later than 8 weeks after shipping. A number of them arrived 5 weeks after being mailed.

I can't figure out why this seems to happen the most for packages that are only a couple states away, sometimes even 4 hours away.

to this point, I haven't lost any cards while in transition. I'd say 90% of them are always weeks late, but none have ever been lost, that I can remember.

I don't know if there is any truth behind this, BUT, I came across a video online that talked about this, sorta. he said that any envelope that cannot be machined (do not bend), gets tossed aside into a pile and the USPS staff will eventually get to the stack when they're able. He said it could take weeks before it's even sorted by hand. That certainly makes sense based off the shipping issues I have with non machineables.

Anyone else experienced the same issue?

Hey, let me say that just about every instance I have had with a package taking over a month (or never actually getting there) was either sent to or from your part of the country - especially Kentucky and surrounding states. This is with all types - pwe and packages both. Not sure what is going on in that region.

I do think that cardboard mailers (not sure about all non-machinable) and similar take longer, for whatever reason, going anywhere. I generally expect close to 2 weeks for mailings like that.

Your situation is pretty bad and know it can be discouraging. We all have to remember to remain patient and keep on trading!
