The Lions are looking to trade for him, possibly back up rb Morris and a 4th round pick. I'd like to see the deal get done.

A 4th and Morris is probably a fair deal for him since he has 1 year left on his current deal.

At this point, you would be basically trading for another Dre Bly. That's what Cro has become in a very short time. A gambling CB on the edge that thrives when the pass rush is dominant, but looks like a burned fool when no one gets to the QB.

The Chargers got good value in return in this trade. They have a better CB fit waiting in the wings for their zone-based defense, which Cromartie whined about to no end.
