Hockey A question about Hockey Cards.

Hello there!

I am getting back into collecting hockey cards after a 15 year break. The first thing I noticed when I started looking again was how many sets there are.

I know I want to collect Upper Deck, but what is the "basic set"? You know where I can get cards of all the players, and such?

I don't care about "masterpiece", "Golden Special", and whatnot...............I just want the basic set.

Thanks alot!

:)

Best bet is OPC I would say. it's the biggest set every year, and relatively cheap without any real big inserts... For a nicer looking set, basic Upper Deck is smaller, but has all the big names and rookies, and some inserts, lije jerseys' and autographs.

Cards have changed in the lat 15 years big time, OPC have big sets as perry said, But one of the biggest annual sets are Victory, Its a big set with many Rookies and paralells and Its cheap too so its not gonna hurt your wallet.

hey, your break lasted as long as I've been alive!

best base("basic") sets
Victory
OPC
UD1 and UD2
MVP is all right too
