Bench Warmer
I'll try to do one more before the draft.
No. 18 is going to throw some people off, but what the hell.
Round 1
1. St. Louis - QB Sam Bradford*, Oklahoma
- All but a lock, unfortunately.
2. Detroit - DT Ndamukong Suh, Nebraska
- Detroit gets the best player available because of the Rams' stupidity.
3. Tampa Bay - DT Gerald McCoy*, Oklahoma
- The only way Tampa could be happier is if this was Suh.
4. Washington - OT Russell Okung, Oklahoma St.
- With the acquisition of McNabb, this pick is a no-brainer.
5. Kansas City - DT Dan Williams, Tennessee
- A 3-4 defense can't be successful without a good NT. That being said, KC could look to trade out of this pick and grab Williams a few picks later.
6. Seattle - S Eric Berry*, Tennessee
- Conflicting reports about Seattle's interest in Berry. Still, it'd be tough to pass on him.
7. Cleveland - DE/DT Jared Odrick, Penn St.
- First surprise pick of the round. This one probably won't pan out with the off-the-field concerns.
8. Oakland - OT Trent Williams*, Oklahoma
- From one athletically gifted OT (Campbell) to another.
9. Buffalo - OT Anthony Davis*, Rutgers
- The Bills take a chance on the boom factor in Davis over the higher floor in Bulaga. Also, Clausen's small hands to play well in Buffalo.
10. Jacksonville - RB C.J. Spiller, Clemson
- Would Jacksonville ever throw the ball if they had a Jones-Drew/Spiller backfield?
11. Denver (from CHI) - WR Dez Bryant*, Oklahoma St.
- This almost has to be the pick, right? Replacing one prima donna with another?
12. Miami - S Earl Thomas*, Texas
- Thomas is one of the best playmakers in this draft, which is something that will entice the Fins.
13. San Francisco - QB Jimmy Clausen*, Notre Dame
- Reports are the Niners wouldn't pass on Mr. Small Hands if he's there.
14. Seattle (from DEN) - OT Bryan Bulaga*, Iowa
- Bulaga could go anywhere from No. 5 to No. 14 (or even later).
15. N.Y. Giants - ILB Rolando McClain*, Alabama
- McClain is perfect for the 3-4, but the Giants snatch him up to lead their defense.
16. Tennessee - DE Jason Pierre-Paul*, South Florida
- The Titans go with the potential of Pierre-Paul over the complete game of Morgan.
17. San Francisco (from CAR) - CB Joe Haden*, Florida
- Niners continue to strengthen the defensive backfield.
18. Pittsburgh - QB Tim Tebow, Florida
- This could happen even if Roethlisberger isn't traded. Tebow won't try to **** anyone.
19. Atlanta - DE Derrick Morgan*, Georgia Tech
- A top eight talent falls into Atlanta's lap.
20. Houston - CB Kyle Wilson*, Boise St.
- The Texans need to replace Dunta Robinson somehow.
21. Cincinnati - TE Jermaine Gresham, Oklahoma
- It seems people always mock TEs to the Bengals, yet they never take one. This time, they get the best one of the class.
22. New England - DE/OLB Sergio Kindle, Texas
- The best 3-4 rush LB in this draft will help to rejuvenate the defense.
23. Green Bay - DE/OLB Brandon Graham, Michigan
- The move to a 3-4 was pretty successful last season, so why not add to it?
24. Philadelphia - S/OLB Taylor Mays, USC
- Mays would play OLB for the Eagles.
25. Baltimore - OL Maurkice Pouncey*, Florida
- Ray Rice and Joe Flacco applaud this pick.
26. Arizona - OT Bruce Campbell*, Maryland
- The Cards could go a number of directions but choose to go with the potential of Campbell.
27. Dallas - OT Roger Saffold, Indiana
- Saffold sneaks into the first round and looks to replace the dirty Flozell Adams.
28. San Diego - RB Ryan Mathews*, Fresno St.
- This guy is the perfect fit for the Chargers. No more scrawny running backs in Charger town.
29. N.Y. Jets - DE/OLB Jerry Hughes, TCU
- Hughes is being undervalued by many, but the Jets grab him to provide some pressure on the QB.
30. Minnesota - OG Mike Iupati, Idaho
- The NFLs best OL gets better.
31. Indianapolis - OT Charles Brown, USC
- Tony Ugoh looked like a genius pick a few years ago, but has since fallen out of favor. Brown could compete to protect Peyton Manning's backside.
32. New Orleans - DE Everson Griffen*, USC
- Griffen is a guy who hasn't yet played up to his potential, but the Saints could use an infusion of talent at DE.
Round 2
33. St. Louis - OLB Sean Weatherspoon, Missouri
34. Detroit - CB Devin McCourty, Rutgers
35. Tampa Bay - OLB Daryl Washington, TCU
36. Kansas City - WR Demaryius Thomas*, Georgia Tech
37. Philadelphia (from WAS) - S Nate Allen, South Florida
38. Cleveland - CB Patrick Robinson, Florida St.

46. N.Y. Giants - DE Carlos Dunlap*, Florida
47. New England (from TEN) - CB Kareem Jackson*, Alabama
48. Carolina - WR Golden Tate*, Notre Dame
- Tate could end up being a poor man's Steve Smith, whom he could learn from.
49. San Francisco - DE/OLB Ricky Sapp, Clemson
50. Kansas City (from ATL) - S Chad Jones*, LSU
51. Houston - RB Jonathan Dwyer*, Georgia Tech
52. Pittsburgh - CB/S Chris Cook, Virginia
53. New England - RB/WR Dexter McCluster, Ole Miss
54. Cincinnati - S Morgan Burnett*, Georgia Tech
55. Philadelphia - CB Akwasi Owusu-Ansah, Indiana (PA)
56. Green Bay - OT/OG Vladimir Ducasse, Massachusetts
57. Baltimore - TE Aaron Hernandez*, Florida
58. Arizona - DE/OLB Jason Worilds*, Virginia Tech
59. Dallas - S Reshad Jones*, Georgia
60. Seattle (from SD) - DE Corey Wootton, Northwestern
61. N.Y. Jets - DE/DT Alex Carrington, Arkansas St.
62. Minnesota - DT Lamarr Houston, Texas
63. Indianapolis - DT Geno Atkins, Georgia
64. New Orleans - OLB Navorro Bowman*, Penn St.
Round 3
65. St. Louis - WR Damian Williams*, USC
66. Detroit - OT Jared Veldheer, Hillsdale

73. Miami - DE/OLB Koa Misi, Utah
74. Jacksonville - WR Marshawn Gilyard, Cincinnati
75. Chicago - WR Brandon LaFell, LSU

78. Carolina - QB John Skelton, Fordham
79. San Francisco - S Larry Asante, Nebraska

89. Arizona - DE/OLB Brandon Lang, Troy
