ill be watching the Dolphins, Ricky Williams Ronnie Brown and Patrick Cobbs are all free agents, so they will probably do a complete overhaul of the backfield...they also have a not so good situation at QB since Pennington said hes taking the season off

thats the team i think that will be making some interesting moves...

yeah the 'must spend' makes it interesting, imagine if the Royals or Pirates had to spend what the Cubs, Yankees, or Red Sox spend  MLB would be more entertaining, i dont think there would be 15 game losing streaks...

I think we will go after him, but Dallas, Houston and Washington will all be after him as well.

Dallas is more likely to land Michael Huff, and Washington will be a loser again this year. Aso wants to go with a winner and still get paid handsomely. My guess is it will come down to the Texans, Packers, and Bucs. The Texans and Bucs have the most money to spend, and will both probably finish at least 8-8 or better, but the Packers are a proven winner with a healthy team, and a close friend of his in Charles Woodson plays there. If he is willing to take a discount, I think they are in the mix, otherwise it will come down to the Texans and Bucs.

Jason, you might have a market nearby for your Brad Smiths if he signs with the Bears. They are reportedly interested in picking him up.

zeeck sent me a text earlier so i googled it and espn chicago had a story about it...

i think i have 17 golds and 12 blues

then i read something about the 3rd quarterback being required to be active instead of 'emergency' so they will have a roster hit and Smith would be great for any team to snag for his Wildcat ability and returns...

it would be difficult to kick away from Hester AND Smith though

it would be difficult to kick away from Hester AND Smith though

The new rules make it a lot easier, though, devaluing the likes of both Hester and Smith.

I can't wait for the next few days. I'm going to be refreshing web pages all day long.

Chad Spann to the Colts, looks like Aaron and I may go head to head on some stuff if he gets put into any products :rambo: :batman:

Someone please tell Pete Carroll that you just can't sign every former USC player in the NFL and expect to win.

Sincerely:

Steve Spurrier
